Tor Sutton - Vocals/Acoustic Guitar
Tor is a well established contempory vocalist. Many have admired her soulful renditions of popular tunes, over the years.
Tor plays acoustic guitar over backing tracks, which complement her beautiful singing voice.
Tor has recently dedicated much of her time to writing her own song, which has raised much interest with radio stations. She has a deep sense of emotion, which comes through when she writes her original songs.
She is currently studying a Jazz Scholl in Christchurch, where she is majoring in vocals. Tor has been exposed to a high level of teaching from music theory to the his of jazz, pop and New Zealand music. This is her third and final year of jazz school where she is studying to obtain a bachelor of musical arts.
Tor has been entertaining at corporate functions and events, conferences, birthday parties, weddings and other social events around Christchuch for the past 14 years.
She enjoys wowing the audience with her moving depictions of past tunes. Tor is an engaging live performer featuring in audience participation, be it singing, dancing or getting them to indulge in playing her percussion instuments.

We first came acrossTor playing in a bar when we were out on a girls night - We LOVED her music and we decided we wanted her to come out to Leston (where we live) to do a gig for us and all our friends.
We did it as a fundraiser for a community project so we sold tickets to our friends, family and people in the area. It was an awesome night, everyone loved the music - even people that didn't dance at their own wedding got up for a dance.
The dance floor was packed all night!!!
We loved having her play for us - great personality and great music. We also liked the fact that she was really organised, contacting us before the event and arriving nice and early to set up.

I recently had a themed 'Kiwiana' Party for my 5oth birthday. Tor was my entertainer for the function and i was so impressed with her energy and enthusiasm. Tor has a great voic, wide choice of songs and her ability to interact and engage with the guests was outstanding. a true professional lady who helped make my day so perfect!!!
