I have been involved in the music industry since I was 18,starting out helping out local Dunedin bands,

then progressing to be a sound and lighting tech and ending up working for some of the top names in Music,

here and overseas,including David Bowie,Rod Stewart,Fleetqwood Mac,George Benson and many NZ artists,

including Midge Marsden,Hello Sailor,Ted Clarke,Hammond Gamble....

I have also had vast experience in Radio,as an announcer,copywriter,production engineer,Programme Director..

Also running one of Dunedin's best ever Entertainment Bars,Regines at the Shoreline Hotel,where I was the in-house

Technician/DJ/Promoter for 10 years.

At Red Parrot Music our aim is to ensure people enjoy themselves.Whatever the function,we can cater to their needs.

We use state of the art Sound,Lighting,including lasers,moving lights,smoke machine.

For the last 8 years I have been the NZ Masters Games DJ. We specalise in the 70's,80's,90's party music,but can provide music

to suit your occasion,wether it be a dinner party,birthday party,corporate event,anniversary. 

DJ Rono will also travel to a town near you, around New Zealand
