Anthony Utama is an up and coming tenor making waves in the music industry. He was born in raised in Auckland, New Zealand and his voice has been described as soft and sweet, to epically powerful. Specialising in the Classical Crossover genre, he covers well known songs by well renouned artists such as Josh Groban, Il Divo and Michael Buble bringing an incomparable sense of class to any event or occasion he performs at.

Anthony prides himself on the ability to amplify the emotions portrayed in the songs he sings, delivering to audiences a performance that brings joy, shivers and consistently brings people tears.

Coming from a Musical Theatre background, highlights of his career so far include playing lead roles in musicals such as Guys and Dolls, High School Musical and Les Miserables, participating in Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park on a number of occasions and performing at Miss Universe NZ.

Anthony was fortunate enough to win TVNZ's Find A Star Competition a few years ago, which lead him to share the stage with NZ Music Legends such as Gray Bartlett, Suzanne Lynch and Ray Woolf.

Whilst specialising in the Classical Crossover style, he is well known for his versatility in other genres, especially Opera (Italian and Spanish), Jazz, Swing, Easy Listening and Musical Theatre. He also sings Rock & Roll, Disco, Motown and more contemporary current charts.
